A student film club was held at Satbayev University. The guests of the film club are child and adolescent psychologist Bayan Kurtybayeva and psychologist-psychoanalyst Arystan myrza.

The main theme of the film club was the analysis of films, which helps students to discuss pressing problems and draw conclusions. On the recommendation of a psychologist, a feature film by French director Martial Fougeron "My Son for Me" (starring Natalie Bai) was analyzed at the meeting.

The film "My Son for Me" tells a rather ordinary story with a rather unusual ending. A family consisting of a father, son, daughter and mother lives in a house behind a high iron fence. The father teaches at the university, the mother is a housewife, the daughter is a student, and the son is studying at school, he is about 14 years old. The father and mother are over 50. The mother is the de facto dictator in the family. The film is serious, requiring a deep philosophical and psychological analysis.

The philosopher, senior lecturer Galiya Abdikhaparova opened the Cinema Club with an introductory speech. In her introductory speech, Galiya Akhmetkhanovna told about the difficult life of children, about the irresponsible attitude of adults and analyzed the plot.

At the end of the film club, the students asked psychologists their questions, and they invited them to a consultation in response. The next meeting of the Film Club will be announced in advance. Now the organizers are collecting students' suggestions for choosing the next film.
