Dear freshmen!

    Congratulations with successful enrollment in one of the best technical universities in Kazakhstan – The Kazakh National Technical Research University named after K.I. Satpayev!
    To accelerate the process of your adaptation to life at the University and get acquainted with the “Orientation week” (the program of events is attached), which will be held from 14 August to 18August, 2017.
    Orientation program includes:
    - passing the Placement test in English, Kazakh/Russian;
    - obtaining an ID-card (only after passing the placement test) and guide (pass);
    - registration of application for living in a dormitory (for non-residents);
    - meeting with the Head of the Institute of General Education;
    - lectures about “Credit Technology of Education and Ethics of Behavior at the University”, “Sports Life of the University” and “Knowledge of my basic rights – the key to a successful career”
    - several master classes from the best students of our University, they will share their experience and give valuable advice;
    - presentations of student organizations about their activities;
    - tour to Historical museum and the University’s Scientific Library;
    Lectures and master classes will be held 3 times in the period from 14 August to 18 August, the diagnostic test will be conducted daily from 10 August to 18 August from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
    We would like to note the importance of passing the placement test, which will result to formation of groups depending on the level of language proficiency. For successful passing, please read the instructions and take a tryout test at http://sso.kaznitu.kz.
