Director of Architecture and Construction Institute Bolat Kuspangaliyev accepted the award for achievements in earthquake-resistant construction field
The achievements of Bolat Kuspangaliyev were noted by EASA – Eurasian Association for Seismology, earthquake-resistant construction and protection from natural disasters, which awarded Bolat Uraykhanovich Medal of 2nd degree for his contribution to the field of earthquake-resistant construction.
Kazakhstan is a country where earthquake-resistant construction traditionally has a strong position. One of the ambassadors of this important direction in Kazakhstan is Bolat Kuspangaliyev, a well-known architect, professor, academician, president of Kazakhstan Academic Center at International Academy of Architecture KazIAA-Eurasia, director of Architecture and Construction Institute named after T. Bassenov at Satbayev University. He not only uses the principles of seismic safety in his work, but also actively popularizes them among his students and colleagues.
