Director of the T. Basenov Institute of Architecture and civil engineering Bolat Kuspangaliyev took part in the I-Eurasian symposium of architecture

At the opening of the I-Eurasian symposium of architecture, urbanism and design «ESAUD-2023» Karaganda State Technical University named after I. Razzakov (Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan) the first speaker was the Doctor of Architecture, Director of the T. Basenov Institute of Architecture and civil engineering of Satbayev University, President of the KazIAAM-Eurasia Bolat Kuspangaliyev.

The report of academician Bolat Kuspangaliyev was called «Prospects of development of architectural education in the Republic of Kazakhstan» and was devoted to the results and materials of the International Forum of CIS architectural schools, held on April 14-15 in Satbayev University. The participants of the symposium approved the Declaration of the Forum «On the Ways of Reform of Architectural Education and Practice» signed in Almaty and the idea of creating the First International Laboratory of Architectural Education Research in Satbayev University.

The «ESAUD-2023» symposium was a logical continuation of the International Forum of CIS architectural schools. In addition to discussing its results, the symposium included a scientific and practical conference, an exhibition of creative works, a review-competition of student works, discussions, guest lectures, trainings, master classes and seminars. The main objective of the symposium was to create an integrated platform for the exchange of knowledge and to discuss current achievements and challenges in architecture, urban planning and design, sustainable development, climate change, environmental security, Digital transformation and economic efficiency.
