English week - 2023 at Satbayev University
The traditional English week dedicated to the English language and creativity was held at Satbayev University from 3 to 7 April. During these spring days, the 1st year students took part in many projects and competitions such as “Performance competition”, “Reading Project”, “Tech Talks”.
Within the framework of the week, a traditional video contest “I am the Next Satbayev” gives the participants an opportunity to prove themselves and declare themselves as a future leader continuing the great legacy of K.I. Satbayev. This year the winners of the competition are:
1st place is Khankeldy Shahmukhanbetov
2nd place is Erdaulet Aliyev
3rd place is Bakhtiyar Zheksenov
Incentive prize is Amir Kenes
English week ended with the charity fair "Red Nose Day" - "Do something funny for money", which has already become a good tradition of the week. Students sold crafts and pastries to help 6-year-old Zhanakhmet Batyrkhan, who suffers from cerebral palsy. So English language not only opens new doors for ambitious students, but also helps children fight their health.
As they say, the first wealth is health, the second one is knowledge.
