Grant competition on support of post-doctoral (PhD) researches and trainings

The Science Committee under Education and Science Ministry of Republic of Kazakhstan, within the framework of “Stimulating Productive Innovations” Project, announces Grant Program competition for “Grants on support of post-doctoral (PhD) Researches and Trainings”. 

PhD Research and Training Grant Program is aimed at applying the potential of the world's leading educational, scientific and production organizations in industrial and innovative potential development of Republic of Kazakhstan in the field of training, professional growth and retraining, joint scientific researches, and  introduction of scientific elaborations to the industry as well.
The subprojects’ implementation period under the given Grant Program should not exceed 12 (twelve) months. 

Maximum grant amount will comprise 17 million tenge. Acceptance of applications via Portal starts on January 15 and ends April 01, 2019, at 6:00 pm Astana time.

Detailed information related to the conditions and requirements of the competition is available in the manual of Grant Program on support of post-doctoral (PhD) research and trainings. The manual can be downloaded at www.fpip.kz website in ‘PhD’ section (A grant type). Applicants should carefully review and comply with all the requirements of the manual on Grant Program.

All applications must be sent in English, in the state language and / or Russian in electronic form through the Internet portal: www.fpip.kz. The English version of the applications is considered the main document, since the project expertise will be performed in English. Strict adherence to all requirements is required. Applications that do not comply with the rules of participation are subject to rejection and will not be accepted for consideration. Prior to filling out an application, it is necessary to be familiar with the environmental requirements for subprojects, as well as non-funded activities under the Project.
