IV International Innovative Forum-Festival "Architectural Education in the Digitalization Era"
Satbayev University in cooperation with the Kazakhstan Academic Center MAAM holds the IV International Innovative Forum-Festival "Architectural Education in the Digitalization Era". Forum-Festival dedicated to the 60th anniversary of architectural education in Kazakhstan includes:
- International scientific and practical conference «Architectural education in the XXI century: global trends and regional features» will be held on April 12, 2021, on the Satbayev University virtual platform (in online format).
- International competition of architectural schools based on Satbayev University will be held on September 29 and 30, 2021.
The Forum-Festival "Architectural Education in the Digitalization Era" brings together representatives of architectural schools to discuss current problems and development prospects, share the experience of developing new educational trajectories, taking into account the new challenges of the modern architectural and construction industry.
Within the framework of the International Forum of Architectural Schools, it is planned to hold a traditional exhibition "Continuity of Generations" under the auspices of the President of MAAM Bokov Andrey Vladimirovich, in which members of the Kazakhstan Academic Center of MAAM will take part. The exhibition will take place in Nur-Sultan and Almaty.
Besides, within the framework of the Forum, an international competition of architectural schools will be held, where it is planned to consider student works in 5 nominations (conditions for participation in the competitions will be sent additionally).
A feature of the IV Forum will be the emphasis on practical and creative formats, such as contests, master classes, and dialogue platforms. This approach will create more concrete, tangible ties between the participants, stimulate their dialogue and interaction, both within the framework of the forum and in the future. The program of the competition is extensive and multifaceted, which allows gathering people with different interests and talents, to give them an impulse for effective cooperation and exchange of ideas in the field of training specialists in the field of architecture, who - having relevant competencies and competitive in modern conditions - can become a key figure of the new time.
A Declaration on the main directions of development of architectural education will be signed following the results of the Forum.
