Kazrockets Satellite Design Tournament 2024

We are pleased to invite Kazakhstan’s schoolchildren and students aged 15 to 21 to join our exciting competition in the world of aerospace technologies.

Registration consists of two stages: with information about the team members and submission of the technical assignment.

1^st round: Online qualification (registration of teams) until March 18, 2024

Participants create the 3D model of a mini satellite. This requires not only technical knowledge, but also a creative approach to design. They present the idea of using a satellite and substantiate its relevance and practical value. The jury selects the top 10 teams that qualify for 2^nd round.

2^nd round: Offline hackathon on April 10-12, 2024 in Astana

Assembling a mini satellite in 24 hours within the specified size and weight, mounted on the launch vehicle.

Registration in Qtap

Location of the event: "Space Flight of Kazakhstan", Astana

Target audience: Kazakhstani youth aged 16-21.

Contest purpose is to arouse interest in space among young people, to encourage young people to develop aerospace technologies.

“Kazrockets” Fund is the first foundation for rocket science and aircraft modeling in Kazakhstan and Central Asia, which has trained more than 1,000 students in rocket science and held aerospace competitions and hackathons.
