Satbayev University has been actively cooperating with Huawei Technologies Co Ltd for two years. Within the framework of cooperation, narrow-profile courses were developed and introduced into the training program and Huawei ICT Academy was opened on the basis of University. SU students learned practical skills in using the technologies of the global ICT infrastructure provider and received vendor certificates.

On August 22, 2023, the implementation of new areas of cooperation began:

1. Exchange of experience and training in advanced technologies, such as cloud technologies, big data and artificial intelligence;
2. Modernization of the existing high-performance computing centers;
3. Providing intelligent computing platforms for research and education;
4. Providing an efficient, convenient and safe intellectual campus;
5. Providing access to training at any time and from any place.

To implement the above directions, an additional cooperation agreement was signed between Satbayev University, represented by Chairman of the Board - Rector Meiram Begentayev and Huawei Technologies, represented by CEO Zhao Xu.
