On Republic Day eve, Satbayev University has celebrated University's heroes’ merits

On October 22, a solemn concert dedicated to Republic Day "Kazakhstan – Kyran Yelim" was held. Polytech University staff gathered on this day to celebrate this significant day and the merits of professors and teachers who devote their lives to the science development in our republic.

At the beginning of the solemn part, Rector of the university, Meiram Begentayev, addressed the audience with congratulations on the holiday. Meiram Begentayev congratulated those present on the Republic Day and on the achievements that the team has achieved over the year.

At the end of the solemn part, the ex-rector of Satbayev University, professor, NAC academician Zhexenbek Adilov addressed the audience with a speech in which he noted the importance of investing in young scientists and students - future graduates who, having won success in the world market with their discoveries, also invest in the university, opening up an opportunity for growth for new generations of engineers.

I decided to start small – to establish a scholarship for talented students who will glorify our university, - said Zheksenbek Adilov.

The purpose of the scholarship is to encourage and provide social support to talented students from among orphaned children left without parental care, low-income families, excellent students with the best results in research work, actively participating in social activities. The sponsor was International Fund for Support and Development of Innovations "Tengri". The first recipient of the Zheksenbek Adilov scholarship was a third-year student of Architecture and Construction Institute Umit Ruslankyzy.

The event continued with the concert attended by talented students of Satbayev University: an orchestra of folk instruments and a chamber choir, a choreographic ensemble and a vocal and instrumental ensemble. Polytech is the best of all!
