Past generations of engineers wish Satbayev University success in the new year

Just before the holidays, University received a favorable sign for the coming year -- during the repair and demolition of the wall in Office 304, MMB at Department of metallurgical processes, heat engineering and technology of special materials, a note was discovered from the past students of University.

The note fell out of the joints of the wall opening and contained a message to "Generation of new people", as well as an image of a rocket.

Historically, the given office has always belonged to Metallurgy department. In different years, the department had different names and first trained metallurgists in the specialty of physics-chemical research of metallurgical processes, in recent years it has been training specialists in metallurgical engineering.

This room was renovated in the 80s of the last century in connection with large student enrollment and since then it has hosted streaming lectures. Perhaps that's when the note was left.

The renovation in room 304 is taking place as part of the renovation - it is planned to make it named in honor of Professor Vladimir Luganov, who worked at the department for 55 years and trained a whole galaxy of metallurgical engineers.

The message of the past years was found before New year, this is the most pleasant greeting that calls you to move only forward, breaking all obstacles!!!
