Satbayev University candidate for a doctor's degree was appointed as mayor of Pavlodar

Anuar Kumpekeev, Satbayev University second-year doctoral student with a degree in Project Management, was appointed as mayor of Pavlodar. Bulat Bakauov, the mayor of Pavlodar region (oblast) presented new head of the city. Regional Chief stated that the candidature of Anuar Kumpekeev was coordinated with the Presidential Administration and with the deputies of the local representative body.

In 2005, Anuar Kumpekeev graduated from Moscow M.V. Lomonosov State University, Bachelor's degree in Economics, in 2007 he obtained the Master's degree in Economic Policy at the University of Bradford (UK), in 2016 he graduated from Kokshetau State University n.a. Sh. Ualihanov. Anuar Kumpekeev is a Graduate of the Bolashak International Scholarship of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

He began his career in September 2005 as a leading specialist of the Department of Economics and Finance of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Kazakhstan. Since September 2008, he took various leadership positions in commercial organizations. In the period of 2009 to 2012, he was Director of the Department of Science and Technology Policy and Regulation, Managing Director, Member of the Management Board of Kazakhstan Center for Housing and Utilities Modernization. From 2012 to 2015, he was Deputy Mayor of Stepnogorsk, Akmola Region (oblast), in May 2015, he was appointed as Mayor of Stepnogorsk. In addition, Anuar Kumpekeev was awarded anniversary medals "Kazakhstan Respublicasynyn Konstituciyasyna 20 zhyl", "Kazakhstan Respublicasynyn Tauelsyzdygyne 25 zhyl".
