Satbayev University Demonstrates How Giving Can Be Fun

Satbayev University hosted its annual charity fair, “Red Nose Day” – “Do something funny for money”, a long-standing tradition aimed at supporting children with severe illnesses. This year, the funds were raised to support a first-year university student diagnosed with a brain tumor. Thanks to the collective efforts of the university community, a total of 519,421 KZT was raised. Once again, the university has proven that doing good can be fun, bring people together, and change lives!

The event was organized with the participation of the Departments of Foreign Languages and Physical Education, the Institute of Project Management, the Institute of Automation and Information Technologies, and the SU Center for Inclusive Education. The initiative was also supported by the volunteer public organization “Fizzy,” which played an active role in the charity fair.

The foyer of the GUK hall transformed into a hub of kindness and entertainment. In addition to the traditional charity fair, guests enjoyed table tennis, chess, and the team game “Cornhole”. Students united in their commitment to promoting a healthy nation and providing support to those in need.

This initiative was carried out within the framework of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), contributing to the global mission of sustainable development.
