Leading Professor of the Department of Architecture of the T.Basenov IA&CI, Professor of the International Academy of Architecture, Honorary Architect of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
Recipient of state and departmental awards:
order "Kurmet" (2018), "Madeniyet salasyn uzdigi", Gold Medal of the Union of architects of Kazakhstan" for inclusion in architectural activities", honorary architect of the Republic of Kazakhstan (2004), medal named after T. K. Basenova "for inclusion in the development of architectural education in the Republic of Kazakhstan" and others.
Takanov Zhasulan was born in 1944 in the village of Biiktesin in Kokshetau (Akmola) region.
He is one of the first graduates of the architectural faculty of KazPTI named after Lenin.
"The creative activity began at the leading project Institute", "Kazgorstroyproekt", in 1970, having already released a number of author's objects (in particular, the project of detailed planning of the central part of the city of Almaty), members of the Union of architects of the USSR took part.
In the position of the main architect of the Medical District of Almaty, the head of the design and construction of many unique architectural and graduate building units and facilities – The Sports Complex "Medeo", the Friendship House of the people, abaya with the Kazakhstan hotel and the ensemble of the House of politics, the complex the District House of officers with an ensemble of Eternal Fire and many others.
The main architect of projects at the Kazgiproselkhoz Institute, Kazproektrestavratsiya, the main engineer for project and restoration work.
The deputy of the raisovet of the people's deputies was undaunted.
Achievements in the work and active public activity were noted by honorary certificates, awards and thanks of the mayor's office of Almaty.
Without turning away from the project work, the disciplines of architectural design were prepared in the Almaty Institute of all-round engineering and construction and Almaty Technical School. As a result of its work, more than a dozen graduates – architects-technicians, builders-engineers, engineers for urban communal services became graduates.
For a long period until the last days he taught the disciplines of architectural design, the World History of Architecture, the History of Architecture of Kazakhstan, the Art Culture of Kazakhstan, the History of Art in Kazakh and Russian languages at the Institute of Architecture and Construction named after T.Basenov.
With success, he prepared the educational and methodological literature in the Kazakh language: "Short illustrated Russian-Kazakh Dictionary of architectural terms", "History of World Architecture" and "History of architecture of Kazakhstan".
