Satbayev University Professor took part in the XVII International Conference of Young Scientists

Nataliya Malakhova, Associate Professor of the Biotechnology Department at the Institute of Chemical and Biological Technologies, took a part in the XVII International Conference of Young Scientists "Forests of Eurasia - Forest of the Volga Region" as the Leading Scientist and Chairman of the section "Forest Biotechnology".

XVII International Conference of Young Scientists "Forests of Eurasia - Forests of the Volga Region", dedicated to the 150th anniversary of Professor G.F. Morozov, the 95th anniversary of Kazan State Agrarian University and the year of ecology in Russia was held 02 - 07 October 2017 in Kazan (Russia). Annually, since 2001, the conference "Forests of Eurasia" has been carrying out its work in various regions of Russia, Belarus, Poland, Finland, Ukraine, Hungary, Lithuania, Kyrgyzstan.

During the implementation of the project, scientists from 36 countries took a part in the conference. Recently, it is the largest youth conference in Central and Eastern Europe with the international office on forests, forest science and education, as well as one of the most reviewed in Russian and foreign scientific publications.

The conference program, in addition to plenary and sectional scientific reports, included scientific and practical classes in the Arsk forestry (with visits to forest cultures and nurseries), the Volga-Kama State Natural Biosphere Reserve, the Privolzhsky forestry (with visits to the water protection forests on the right bank of the Volga River), scientific and practical occupation in the Sabinsky forestry with a visit to the forest selection and seed center.
