Satbayev University student project became one of the best start-ups in Almaty

September 23, there was a competition of innovative projects "Startup Battle" in the third International Tech-Festival “Almaty Tech Garden Fair-2017". One of the contestants was Timur Suleev, a 4th-year student of the Satbayev University Institute of High Technology Engineering.

Timur presented his current project “Print3DHUB” to create production line that can produce an unlimited range of products. This line based on the use of 3D printing capabilities makes possible to produce details of any shape 200x200x315 mm in size from plastic, metal and liquid polymers.

A similar line was made already in Satbayev University. It allows producing complex parts at the lowest price per unit and significantly reduce the time for their production. At the same time, the cost of 3D printing is 3-5 times less than for similar products of market leaders.

Timur's project presupposes the further development of 3D printing technologies in Kazakhstan and the creation of the first in our country plant for the production of all kinds of products without human participation - with the help of robots and software of domestic production. "Until today, we have been among the catch-up, but now we are ready to create innovations in the industry," - Timur said about his project.

During "Startup Battle" Timur Suleev competed with large companies for the main prize. His project was highly appreciated by the organizers and, together with the best projects of Almaty, became part of the "Startup Alley".
