Satbayev University student won silver at Republican tournament on Kazak kuressi (Kazakh wrestling)
Aidyn Izmukhanbet, a young and ambitious student of Satbayev University, proved his skills and commitment to the national sport by winning silver at the prestigious republican tournament!
Republican Kazak kuressi martial art competition named after Kazhymukan Munaitpasuly was held in Kyzylorda and brought together the strongest wrestlers from all over the country. Aidyn Izmukhanbet, a student at Satbayev University in “Design and Technology in Mechanical Engineering” specialty, took 2nd place among athletes born in 2005-2007 in the weight category up to 66 kg.
Aidyn has been wrestling since the age of seven, specializing in judo and Kazakh kuressi. He is a prize-winner of the 2023 Kazakhstan Championship, a candidate for master of sports in both types of wrestling, who has won more than 100 awards at national and international tournaments. For his outstanding achievements, he was twice nominated for “Zhyl Uzdigi” (High-achiever of the year”) Award in 2023 and 2024.
This success is the result of many years of hard work, dedication and striving for victory. Aidyn continues to improve, confidently paving the way to new heights and strengthening his position among the strongest wrestlers in Kazakhstan.
