Satbayev University students won silver in TechnoCamp competition
On 14-26 July, in Lepsinsk village, TechnoCapm-2018 business ideas competition was held. The University was represented by Polytech team. The competitions was won by a team Freenergy fromAlmaty University of Power Engineering and Telecommunications, while Satbayev University team won the second place among projects from Kazakhstan.
The startup projects competition was organized by Almaty University of Power Engineering and Telecommunications and ZHERSU Investment Industrial Corporation.
As noted by the competition organizers, the aim of the event is to find the most interesting and ambitious technically oriented projects that can contribute to the growth of the national economy of Kazakhstan.
43 teams participated in the business ideas competition, 27 projects won the elimination round and only 12 startup projects got through to the finals. All the projects were said to have economic and social potential to develop small and medium-sized business in the Republic.
