Satbayev University summarizes the results of the scientific work of 2017

October 25, 2017 there was scientific and technical council in Satbayev University. The university institutes submitted a report on scientific projects for 2017. The vice rector for scientific work of Satbayev University Murat Orunkhanov presided.

The vice rector especially marked out the projects under the leadership of S.A. Mashekov, A.B. Baybatsha, G.S. Turysbekova, V.A. Luganov, B.A. Myrzahmetov. "All these works are worthy of talking about them and implementing them in production. Work on these projects and their practical implementation will continue, so we expect the emergence of new startups, research for production and other results, " said the vice rector.

Murat Orunkhanov emphasized the importance of constant work with industry at the sub-faculty level and joint projects of different institutions. At the meeting, the participants found some potential interdisciplinary themes were emerging at the junction of construction, the theory of materials, oil production, and biotechnology.

At the end of the meeting, the participants discussed projects related to the Satbayev University supercomputer. It is one of the most productive computers in the CIS equipped with modern programs that is necessary for scientific projects in the field of technical sciences.
