Satbayev University took part in the science and innovation exhibition
Within the framework of Science Week, Al-Farabi Kazakh National University hosted a scientific and innovative “Science and Business. Ways of innovative development of Kazakhstan" exhibition. The event was attended by Minister of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan Sayassat Nurbek, Deputy Akim of Almaty Alisher Abdykadyrov, First Deputy Chairman of Board of "Atameken" National Chamber of Entrepreneurs Maksat Kikymov and other well-known people.
The exhibition brought together many scientific projects of the country’s best technical universities, among the participants there was Satbayev University, which presented its innovative elaborations.
One of Satbayev University’s projects was the work entitled "Intelligent unmanned aerial systems in precision agriculture", developed by Alexey Oksinenko and Sergey Shane. Another was Sergey Trebukhov's project "Development of technology for obtaining the branded selenium from substandard selenium-containing materials". Selenium is an important element necessary for manufacturing the glass, electronics and popular goods. The use of substandard materials for its production will reduce production costs.
Another promising direction presented by Satbayev University was digital doubles. Projects "Digital twin of the urban heat network", developed by Gaukhar Ramazanova, and “Virtual laboratory for the repair and maintenance of passenger cars”, created by Nurbol Kamzanov, were demonstrated as well. Both projects are aimed at optimizing the work in diverse areas of technology and increasing the commissioning specialists’ efficiency.
In general, the exhibition has become an excellent platform for Kazakhstani scientists and researchers to demonstrate their projects to potential business partners and strengthen ties between science, education and production.
Exhibition was followed by a plenary session dedicated to the issues of successful partnership between science and business, and a round table on “Integration of science and business in contemporary conditions" topic.
