Satbayev University’s scientists took part in the scientific exhibition within the framework of "1st Business and Science Event"
Today, on September 30, 2023, Swissotel Wellness Resort Alatau Almaty hosted the primary "1st Business and Science Event" in the Republic, aimed at establishing and strengthening the ties between science, business and production, which brought together important representatives from the given areas.
Organizers are National Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Kazakhstan under the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, “Trenco R&D” company and Science Foundation.
Within the framework of the event, there was held a scientific and innovative exhibition, where Satbayev University’s scientists presented their latest developments. Among them is the domestic portable cardio diagnostic system, which contributes to improving the automation and quality of diagnostics of the heart state in conditions of the patient’s free activity, developed by the team of Kassymbek Ozhikenov, as well as charging stations for electric vehicles with the improved characteristics of Ruslan Utebayev.
Reputable business representatives and well-known scientists held master classes, training seminars at the event and took part in the plenary discussion. Topical issues related to innovation and collaboration between science and business were discussed.
The main focus of the event was on fruitful cooperation and creation of promising ideas that can shape the future for the Republic of Kazakhstan.
Culmination of "1st Business and Science Event" was the signing of Tripartite Memorandum between National Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Kazakhstan under the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Satbayev University and "MiningTechnologyKZ" company. This step highlights the importance of cooperation between education, science and business in the pursuit of innovation and advancement.
Among the event’s honored guests there were the businessman Mukhtar Zhakishev, co-founder of "Sergek" and CEO of "Freedom Telecom Holding" Kairat Akhmetov, director of "Korkem Telecom" Asset Akhmetov, CEO of National Holding "Qazbiopharm", Professor Yergali Abduraimov, founder and incorporator of Astana Vision clinic network, President of Eye Clinics Association "Astana Vision" Vladimir Kim and many other businessmen and scientists.
The given event opens up new opportunities for joint research and innovation, and we are proud of its significance for Kazakhstan’s future.
