Seminars on artificial intelligence in architecture were held at Satbayev University

The Department of Architecture of Satbayev University held a seminar and master class on artificial intelligence in architecture.

A seminar and master class on artificial intelligence in architecture, held on April 15-16, was held at the Department of Architecture of Satbayev University. The presenter of the seminar, Dr. Bartosz Sliwiecki from the Bialystok University of Technology, came as part of academic mobility under the Erasmus program. He spoke to the audience, sharing his knowledge about the use of artificial intelligence in architectural design. 20 students majoring in Architecture and Design took part in the seminar and master class.

The “Form Search Bots” workshop provided a platform for discussing the opportunities that image generation algorithms provide, helping architects bring innovation and dynamism to their projects, while the “Generating Experimental Architectural Design” master class brought participants not only theoretical knowledge, but also practical skills. Participants learned how to use various software tools such as Discord, Leonardo.ai, Playground.com and Vizcom to bring their ideas to life.

All participants received certificates confirming new competencies. The event shed light on the future of architecture, demonstrating how collaboration between human and artificial intelligence can lead to innovation and new frontiers in design.

Given the success of this event, Satbayev University intends to continue its work in the field of artificial intelligence in architecture, offering students and professionals even more opportunities for development and creativity.
