Seminars on artificial intelligence were held at Satbayev University

Satbayev University hosted the Summer Series of Seminars on Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning (AI&ML Summer Workshop, Series 2022) under the auspices of the ACeSYRI project. The project is aimed at strengthening the interaction of Kazakh universities with colleagues from Europe as part of the training of doctoral students and young scientists.

Throughout June, the university held daily seminars with a wide educational and scientific program.
As part of the seminars, doctoral students discussed:

classical machine learning algorithms and basic principles for creating learning programs;
examples of application of machine learning;
deep learning models, face and object recognition, image and speech processing.

During the research sessions, doctoral students listened to speeches by 12 researchers from 4 countries. More than 80 people from more than 40 organizations and universities took part in the lectures online. All participants of the seminar were awarded certificates of participation.

Satbayev University became a co-organizer of the seminars together with the ICT MES RK, with the participation of the International Informatization Academy.
