Student meeting on prevention of terrorism took place in SU

On the eve of the Independence Day of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Ph.D. students of the 2nd year of the Department of "Chemical Technologies" of the School of Chemical and Biological Technologies had meeting with students living in dormitories of Satbayev University.

The meeting was devoted to issues of modern society on the prevention of manifestations of religious extremism and terrorism. In their presentations, the Ph.D. students demonstrated with the help of video films how fragile the line between stability and security in the republic and the alien manifestations of religious extremism aimed to destroy the peace and tranquility. The Ph.D. students showed that religious extremism and terrorism have no nationality, it is easily transformed and penetrates into any social environment. Therefore, knowledge of the goals of international terrorism, the forms of its manifestation, becomes especially relevant for the younger generation.

The evening was accompanied by the performance of songs by Kazakhstani authors, poems of great akins, bequeathed to preserve the peace and tranquility of the peoples of our multinational republic.

The event was attended by the vice-rector R.M.Iskakov, the director of the School of Chemical and Biological Technologies Z.K. Tuiebakhova, the heads of the departments, advisers and students.
