The ACESYRI Summer School began with the IT&M 2023 conference
On June 5, 2023, the IT&M 2023 conference began – the first event in the ACESYRI Summer School program, organized to discuss topical issues in the field of information technology.
The conference was opened by the Deputy Director of the Institute of Automation and Information Technologies, Zhuldyz Kalpeeva. She wished all participants success and productive work during the week. The main coordinator of the Summer School, Professor Ravil Mukhamediev, also made a welcome speech, emphasizing the importance and significance of the conference for the IT sphere.
The conference was dedicated to issues of machine learning, natural language processing, information security, and web technologies. Participants presented more than ten reports, among which the report of Akbayan Bekarystankyzy "Improve Automatic Speech Recognition for Kazakh language using Extended Language Model" was highlighted. In addition, the Deputy Director of the Institute of Information and Computing Technologies of the Science Committee of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Orken Mamyrbayev, shared information about his projects.
