The "Integral GPA" module has been developed in the SSO educational portal to account for students' social and scientific achievements.
As part of Satbayev University's efforts to digitize educational processes, a new module—"Integral GPA"—has been developed to account for and evaluate students' participation in scientific and social events where they have won prizes.
This module is designed for deputy directors of institutes responsible for social and scientific activities, simplifying the process of documenting and analyzing student achievements. Using this new functionality, students' participation in competitions, conferences, olympiads, social projects, and other significant events can be logged.
How does the "Integral GPA" module work?
- Record addition: Deputy directors input information about a student's participation in an event through the module interface. Event details, achievements, and placements are specified.
- Registrar's Office approval: Once verified by the "Registrar's Office" staff, the record is confirmed.
- Display in the transcript: Approved achievements are automatically included in the student's transcript, where the integral GPA reflects not only academic performance but also contributions to scientific and social activities.
