Training of specialists in the field of solving a wide range of production tasks of a managerial nature based on the fundamental principles of business management due to modern approaches and methods, as well as information technologies.
In the course of training, special attention is paid to business research, strategic and project management, diagnostics and reengineering of business processes, portfolio management of projects and programs in mining and metallurgical complex.
In the first year, undergraduates study strategic and project management, tax accounting, marketing strategies, corporate finance, project portfolio management, as well as modern technologies for the enrichment and processing of mineral raw materials and man-made waste, highly rhythmic mining operations.
Master students gain negotiation and leadership skills and develop emotional intelligence. The acquired knowledge and skills in the given areas of knowledge allow future masters to integrate into the workflow of almost any sphere related to mining and metallurgical industry; it is quite easy to solve a wide range of administrative and managerial tasks.
