How to fill in the application to participate in state grant contest?
1. Before applying, select your favorite educational program at Satbayev University, corresponding to the relevant subjects in which you passed UNT.
2. Write down for yourself the code (column “Groups of educational programs” in the table) of the group of educational programs that includes the program you have chosen.
3. Indicate the group code and code of Satbayev University (Kazakh National Research Technical University named after K.I. Satpayev) in the application for a grant: 029.
The program is designed to train highly qualified specialists in electronics, electrical engineering, and automation. It focuses on integrating theoretical knowledge with practical skills to meet the modern demands of the digital economy, automation, and intelligent control systems.
The program includes a significant volume of mathematical, natural science, foundational, specialized, and language disciplines. New specialized courses have been added, which can be divided into two groups: the fundamentals of modern electrical systems and the basic elements of electronic digital systems.
You will study the following disciplines: "Modeling electronic circuits in MATLAB and other software products", "Programming embedded systems", "Designing electrical devices", "Programmable logic integrated circuits", "Basics of automation", "Intelligent process control systems".
The program is developed based on the curricula of leading universities worldwide. Students will gain skills in applying and developing electronic and digital systems for various purposes, including designing and developing programmable logic integrated circuits (PLCs). Special attention is given to digital device technologies.
Laboratory and practical work is mainly conducted using computer equipment and specialized software, as well as virtual laboratory sessions. These include applications like MathCAD, LabVIEW, MatLab, Multisim, Electronics Workbench, and laboratory setups.
Internships are organized in leading companies such as "Saiman" JSC, "Transtelecom" JSC, LG, Cisco, and others. The best students can study at foreign universities under academic mobility programs.
Graduates will be in demand as electronics engineers, telecommunications system designers, and developers of automated and robotic systems. They will be able to work in research, design, and production units, implementing technologies for digitalization, automation, and robotics.
