The program was created to implement the Fourth Industrial Revolution provisions - Industry 4.0 and is focused on training specialists for the republic's electronic industry.
The program includes a large amount of mathematical, natural science, basic, specialized and language disciplines. New specialized disciplines were added, which can be divided into two groups: disciplines on modern electrical systems’ fundamentals and basic elements of electronic digital systems.
You will study the following disciplines: “Physical fundamentals of electronics”, “Theory of signal transmission”, “Electronic circuit design”, “Microprocessor and microcontroller devices and systems”, “Theoretical fundamentals of electrical engineering”, “Basics of C / C ++ programming”, “Electro technical materials ", “Fundamentals of power electronics ","Super high-frequency electronics ", “Technical means of automation and control ","Electronic sensors and converters”, "Optoelectronics», “Programmable logic integrated circuits”, “Electronic wireless communication devices", "Mechatronics”, “Artificial Intelligence”, “Design of electronic means", etc.
The program is based on the world leading universities’ programs. Students will learn a set of disciplines that form skills in application and development of electronic digital systems for various purposes, including and design of programmable logic integrated circuits for FPGAs. Particular attention is paid to digital devices technology.
Laboratory and practical work is mainly carried out due to computer equipment and specialized software, as well as with virtual laboratory work use. These are such application programs as "MathCAD", "LabVIEW", "MatLab", "Multisim", “Electronics Workbench” and laboratory installations. For example, for “Multichannel Telecommunication Systems” discipline, Emona-Date X laboratory stand is used, for Electronics and Circuitry research Edibon laboratory stand is applied.
Students will have internships in “Sayman Corporation”, Granit Radio Electronics Institute, “Orion System”, “KazTech Innovations”, Institute of Space Technology Technologies, etc. The best students will have the opportunity to study at leading overseas universities under academic mobility program.
Graduates will be in demand as technicians, artisans, engineers, electronics engineers, communications workers, operators, managers in organizing business processes of telecommunications. In the real economy sector, there is a high demand for specialists who develop electronic equipment systems in research, production and design departments of electrical and electronic enterprises, as well as in divisions of large companies.
