A competition has been announced for grant funding of young scientists for the "Zhas Galym" project for 2022-2024
The Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan announces a competition for grant funding of fundamental and applied scientific research of young postdoctoral scientists under the project "Zhas Galym" for 2022-2024 in priority areas of science development according to the Tender Documentation.
The purpose of the competition is to finance the expenses of postdoctoral students for conducting applied and fundamental scientific research aimed at solving the tasks set in the plan for the implementation of research within the framework of the postdoctoral program.
Postdoctoral students who have a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree/doctors in the profile or an academic degree (doctor/candidate of sciences) can participate in the competition/ obtained no earlier than 2013, also within the last 12 months are not a supervisor or a member of a research group in scientific and/or scientific and technical projects funded from the state budget.
Please also note that the Grant competition is provided for individual postdoctoral research with the participation of a scientific consultant.
Financing of 1 (one) project with a 32-month implementation period is no more than 19 million tenge, including: for 2022 – no more than 3 million tenge; for 2023 - no more than 8 million tenge; for 2024 - no more than 8 million tenge.
The start of accepting applications is from December 10, 2021. The deadline for submitting applications is January 11, 2022 (inclusive).
