A new research center of Satbayev University will solve problems of the mining industry

“Tau-Ken Samruk” National Mining Company and Satbayev University will create a joint venture for research work. A new research center will solve a number of problems that hinder the mining industry growth.

Chairperson of JSC “NMC Tau-Ken Samruk” Board Kanat Kudaybergen and Satbayev University Rector Iskander Beyssembetov signed the corresponding agreement.

The company will help in solving a number of problems hampering the mining industry development in Kazakhstan.

In particular, Research Center (RC) will deal with innovative technologies’ elaboration and implementation in geological exploration, mining and processing of mineral raw materials, at the same time with commercialization of these technologies due to attracting additional investments; Center specialists will conduct research and development work for mining and metallurgical sectors.

 Another field of the newly created RC’s activity is coaching personnel for the mining industry based on Bachelor, Master and PhD-doctoral programs, as well as organizing and conducting seminars and trainings for professionals employed in the industry with the involvement of teachers from leading foreign educational and scientific centers.
