A working meeting between Satbayev University and RAMS Qazaqstan

On May 23, a working meeting between representatives of Satbayev University and the RAMS Qazaqstan company was held at the Institute of Architecture and Construction named after T. Basenov, dedicated to the training of construction specialists for this company. The meeting was attended by the company's HR director Arnika Targyn, chief training manager Roza Shegenova, director of the Institute of Architecture and Construction Bolat Kuspangaliev and director of the Institute of Digital Technologies and Professional Development Andrey Simonov.

RAMS Qazaqstan is a construction company that was founded in 1997 and currently ranks as one of the leaders in the Kazakhstan market. The company is actively developing, working in the field of breakthrough changes in architecture, construction, service and technology development. Over the years of its activity, more than 30 residential complexes have been built in Almaty. A memorandum of understanding and cooperation between RAMS Qazaqstan and Satbayev University was signed at the beginning of 2024 and the parties began to implement it almost immediately.

The participants discussed the prospects for training highly qualified specialists in the field of construction and construction technologies using the latest methods and technical means of education, including using the Politechonline remote learning platform. The issues of testing the level of competencies of the company’s engineering and technical workers were also touched upon.

As a result of the meeting, it was decided to launch dual training for future civil engineers from the new academic year. The new training program will combine theoretical training at a university and practical training at an enterprise. A special feature of the program will be that RAMS Qazaqstan specialists, thanks to Satbayev University, will be able to obtain a second higher education, which will significantly increase their competitiveness.

The parties expressed confidence that dual training will make it possible to prepare highly qualified specialists who will be in demand in the labor market.
