ACeSYRI project participants exchanged experiences at a working meeting in Slovakia
From April 4 to 6, 2023, a working meeting of participants of the ACeSYRI project of the Erasmus+ program was held at the University of Zilina (Slovakia). Dean of the Faculty of Management and Informatics Emil Krshak, as well as project coordinators Elena Zaitseva and Vitaly Levashenko addressed the participants of the project with a welcoming speech. Representatives of Satbayev University took part in the meeting and shared their experience and results with foreign partners.
The work within the ACeSYRI project is distributed according to work packages, so universities were counted according to their packages. The Satbayev University team presented a report on the WP4 package "Plan to increase the level of partnership with EU countries". The results of the university's work were presented at the meeting by the ACeSYRI coordinator from Satbayev University Bayangali Abdygalym.
University lecturer Adilkhan Simagulov, who is actively involved in the project, made a presentation of the activities carried out and planned within the framework of the project. One of them will be ACeSYRI Summer school, which will be held at the university in June 2023. All project partners from European and Kazakh universities will take part in the work of the school.
Representatives of the university took part in training to work with the portal of the ACeSYRI project and made their proposals for the development of the portal and deepening the partnership of universities.
The ACeSYRI project (Advanced Centre for PhD Students and Young Researchers in Informatics) is a project of the Erasmus+ program aimed at improving the skills of young scientists in the field of informatics and developing academic cooperation between European and Kazakh universities. Within the framework of the project, activities are carried out for the exchange of experience, training and research, as well as the creation of sustainable mechanisms for cooperation and information exchange between project participants. The project is coordinated by the University of Zhilin.
