Address from the Rector of Satbayev University regarding the coronavirus

Dear colleagues! The situation with coronavirus in the world is alarming. In this situation, we must anticipate its spread. For the next two months, it is necessary to:

1. Postpone both foreign and domestic flights and not to invite anyone from abroad or from other cities in general.

2. Not to conduct or participate in mass events including production conferences.

3. Increase the use of disinfectants at universities and dormitories by 50%. Strengthen control over their usage.

4. Prohibit coming to work or university with symptoms of any respiratory infection. Appearing at University with any symptoms is a reprimand.

5. Waive the requirement to provide medical certificates for missing classes/absenteeism.

6. Ventilate all University premises before and after classes by the security personnel.

7. Prohibit visiting dormitories by any outsiders including students’ parents.
