Calling for all Video Makers!

No matter if you’re a novice or a professional filmmaker, it’s high time to demonstrate your skills.

The English Language Department is proud to announce “I’m the next Satbayev” video contest. In order to participate, contestants are to make and upload videos on Instagram and tag the official account @eld_su. You are also required to send your videos to thenextsatbayev@gmail.com no later than 15 April, 2019.

The winners will be selected on the 19^th of April by the following criteria:

• content (theme relevance, logical sequence, value of information)
• language performance (grammar accuracy, wide range of vocabulary, pronunciation, intonation)
• technical accuracy (1 minute timing, smooth transitions and edits, high definition of audio and visual quality with 1920x1080 dimension and 16:9 aspect ratio)
• creativity (originality, visual appeal, artistic merit)

The students who take the first, second and the third places will be rewarded with monetary prizes. Don’t stay out of sight! Do your best!
