Ceremony of awarding "Golden Hephaestus" National competition took place in the capital

Solemn ceremony of awarding "Golden Hephaestus" National industrial competition, organized with the support of RK MIID and ERG Company (Eurasian Resources Group), took place on June 2, 2023 in Astana. The ceremony was attended by Deputy Minister of RK Industry and Infrastructure Development Ilyas Ospanov, Executive Director of Republican Association of Mining and Metallurgical Enterprises Nikolay Radostovets, Deputy of Parliament Majilis Albert Rau as well as representatives of ERG (Eurasian Resources Group).

This year, Golden Hephaestus is being held for the thirteenth time and is rightfully considered one of the most anticipated events in the industry.

The main goal is to celebrate the achievements of professionals, who have made a significant contribution to mining, metallurgy, manufacturing and other related industries’ growth. This year, the competent jury reviewed more than 150 applications from 29 companies, 7 universities of Kazakhstan and selected the best professionals in mining and metallurgical industry. The decision to win was made in two stages: the collection of applications by Organizing committee members and the evaluation of questionnaires by jury members, which included the heads of leading companies at industry and the recognized industry experts.

The winners were determined in 15 nominations. In "Teacher of the Year" nomination, Kanai Bakhytovich Rysbekov was the winner, K.I. Satbayev Kazakh National Research Technical University;

Over 170 specialists and organizations of industry have already received the award during thirteen years.
