Courses for teachers on the topic “Technologies of professionally oriented education in higher education” have begun
In the period from September 18 to 29, 2023 academic year, the Educational and Methodological Department of the Registrar's Office, together with the Department for Work with Corporate Clients, organizes advanced training courses for young teachers of Satbayev University.
The course program is designed for 72 academic hours.
The purpose of the program: to analyze the methodological aspect of the organization of education at the university; to form skills for the use of professionally-oriented learning technologies in working with students; to develop interest in innovative pedagogical technologies.
According to the results of the program, teachers will:
- know about modern innovative pedagogical techniques used in teaching;
- be able to apply pedagogical technologies in the classroom;
- be able to form an individual style of pedagogical activity;
- to master the methods of organizing students' cognitive activity;
- possess the methodological basics of conducting training sessions;
- practically apply active teaching methods;
- effectively use the skills of the teacher's communicative competence.
The course uses methods and principles of educational technologies (lectures, educational materials, video lectures and presentations, test tasks, practical exercises, etc.).
Highly qualified University teachers are involved in the course:
1) Natalia Zykova – Associate Professor of the Department of Social Sciences, Candidate of Psychological Sciences;
2) Zhumagalieva Aigul Sarsenbayevna – Head of the Educational and Methodological Department of the Office Registrar, Master of Pedagogical Sciences «Pedagogy and Psychology», senior lecturer of the Department of Social Disciplines;
3) Gulnur Bakitbekovna Esbergenova – Senior Lecturer of the Department of Social Sciences, Master of Social Sciences.
Upon successful completion of the program, the course teachers will be awarded certificates of advanced training.
