Director of Scientific library of the Satbayev University awarded a medal

Within the Eurasian forum of leaders of higher education on the basis of libraries of Nazarbayev University and L.N. Gumilyov ENU held the VIII international scientific and practical conference "Library interaction: Modern world trends in the development of the University library". With the participation of leading foreign experts, current trends were considered: corporate projects on open resources and repositories, the use and promotion of electronic resources, support for innovation and research at universities, etc.    

The traditional awarding of representatives of the industry for their active contribution to the development of the professional library community took place at the event. Director of the Scientific library Satbayev University Bagdad Uzbaeva was awarded the medal "Кітапхананың дамуына қосқан үлесі үшін".

Uzbaeva B. J. working productively as a member of the Association of University Libraries in the Republic of Kazakhstan is the organizer of seminars aimed at increasing access to foreign scientific and educational resources and the development of services for users of University libraries of the country. Scientific library Satbayev University under the direction of B. Uzbaeva successfully implements the projects on development of digital collections and online services and increasing publication activity of researchers.
