Excursion to the holy places of Almaty

Within the framework of patriotic education and implementing the "Spiritual Revival" program of Kazakhstan’s First President, Social Disciplines department’s teachers organized an excursion for students of 1^st year to the holy places of Almaty city. The students visited the house-museum of the nation’s teacher A. Baitursynov, the given place is in the list of Almaty city holy places, giving impetus to the spiritual and moral revival of our youth. In the house-museum of A. Baitursynov, operating since 1993, there are "The great thread of the national spirit", "The lighthouse of the Kazakh consciousness", "Hellish days of political repression victims" exhibitions. Having got acquainted with the exhibits, political activities, original documents belonging to Kazakhstan’s public and political figure, our university’s students received a moral and educational lesson.
