Gratitude Day at Satbayev University

Kazakhstanis have been celebrating Gratitude Day on March 1 since 2016. Every year this holiday becomes more and more important for our multinational country. Indeed, at the beginning of the XX century, 1.1 million people from Belarus, Russia and Ukraine arrived in Kazakhstan, and the Kazakh steppe hospitably received them. The Day of Gratitude became a tribute to interethnic harmony and friendship in Kazakhstan.

The Day of Gratitude is, first of all, the day of the triumph of the policy of peace and harmony of the President, which served as the basis for establishing peace and harmony in the country, mutual trust and respect for all Kazakhstanis.

This is a sign of deep respect for the sacred Kazakh land and the hospitable Kazakh people, who have become a fertile settlement of millions of representatives of different ethnic groups who, by the will of fate, were forced to move to the Kazakh land.

The Day of Gratitude is the day of the Assembly of the People of Kazakhstan, uniting under a single Shanyrak all the nations and nationalities in our country, the main pillar of Kazakhstan's identity, the nationwide patriotic idea "Mangilik El", aimed at perpetuating the people of Kazakhstan.

In this regard, on March 1, 2022, the Department of "Social Disciplines" named after A. Mashani Institute of Basic Education together with second-year Master Students in the house of Young Scientists No. 9 of our University held an action "My Kazakhstan is my Homeland!" in offline and online format held a training seminar aimed at educating young people in the spirit of patriotism.

During the training seminar, Master Students expressed gratitude and love for their homeland through training exercises and innovative methods. I think the Master Students have increased their feelings of love and patriotism for their native land.
