How many points do I need to score to get a grant for studying at Satbayev University in 2023?
Grants are awarded on the competitive basis to students with the highest results. You will know the passing scores only after the testing is completed and the results are received.
Despite the fact that the passing score changes every year, it depends, first of all, on how much the profession is in demand, so the previous years’ results will help you navigate. As a rule, it is most difficult to enroll in rare and popular specialties, such as programs for future financial analysts and IT specialties.
Grants are allocated among degree programs groups, and for all specialties included in one group, the passing score is the same.
When allocating, grants are assigned first according to the rural quota, which is 30% of grants, so the passing score, considering the rural quota, is always lower. So, if you live in a city, pay attention to passing scores without taking into account the quota.
Since Satbayev University is a national university, minimum UNT passing score here is 65 points. Profile disciplines at Satbayev University are physics, mathematics, biology, chemistry, computer science.
Since last year and this 2023, applicants can take UNT twice. Based on two UNT results, you receive two certificates and can use the score that is higher. You can also test your strength in the trial test, which is conducted in an online format at the center's website.
