Hyundai and Satbayev University have launched a unique educational project for students
A unique project has been launched at Satbayev University, for the first time in the history of the Kazakh automotive industry, representatives of the Hyundai Kazakhstan plant took a direct part in the training of students. Head of the engineering and automotive industry of Hyundai Kazakhstan, Song Tae Won and Hyundai Global Training Academy’s head Lee Hyun Sok held a series of lectures on electric vehicles and the prospects for evolving the automotive industry.
Lectures are held for Satbayev University students and give access to the latest technologies in the automotive industry, including Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) based on artificial intelligence, which help drivers drive safely. Students got a unique opportunity to study electric vehicle systems in depth and prepare for a career in one of the most dynamically developing industries. The program also provides practical classes on real cars, which allows students to apply their knowledge in practice.
Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs Raissa Uskenbayeva congratulated all the participants of the project and wished the students success in mastering the new knowledge. Hyundai has provided University with an innovative electric vehicle Ioniq 5 for practical training and technology demonstration. The car was presented to students and guests of University, and its chassis was exposed for study in the showroom.
Mikhail Mishin, technical director of Hyundai Kazakhstan, noted that the given project opens up huge prospects for students in the automotive industry at the highest level. He stressed that the future of the automotive industry is connected with intelligent systems, and Hyundai will continue to share its ideas and strategies with the program participants.
Such educational projects are important for advancing the automotive industry in Kazakhstan. Lectures are held in “Hyundai - Astana Motors” auditorium, created with the financial support of Astana Motors within the framework of the collaboration memorandum. In the future, the training program will be expanded, and it is planned to conduct a competitive selection among students with the possibility of employment at the Hyundai plant in Kazakhstan.
