"Innovative Technologies in Geospatial digital Engineering" conference was held at Satbayev University
"Innovative Technologies in Geospatial Digital Engineering" International Scientific and Practical Conference brought together scientists from Kazakhstan, Russia, USA, China, Germany, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, Indonesia, Lithuania, representatives of universities (S.Seifullin KazATU, KarTU, IOC, Al-Farabi KazNU, L.N.Gumilev ENU, KSTU named after Z.Aldamzharov), and mining and cartographic-geodetic enterprises and research institutes to summarize and analyze their experience in the development of geodesy and cartography, surveying, land management, cadaster, seismology.
The conference was timed to 115th anniversary of birth of the founder at Kazakh School of Geotechnics, outstanding scientist A.Zh. Mashanov and 100th anniversary of the birth of Academician at KazSSR Academy of Sciences, Honored Scientist Zh.S. Yerzhanov. The general sponsors of the conference were "Leica Geosystems Kazakhstan", "Altyntau Kokshetau", "Geo Master A", "Topoplan-3D", "InnoTech" companies as well as "Algeorhythm" research and production company.
As part of the conference, the al-Mashani auditorium was opened at Satbayev University and a new textbook on geotechnics was presented. The opening ceremony was attended by the student of the great scientist Marzhan Nurpeissova and his granddaughter Raissa Mashanova, who passed on the scientific traditions laid down by Akzhan Mashani to the new generation. Doctor of Technical Sciences Academician Bayan Rakishev and Rector of Satbayev University Meiram Begentayev spoke at the exhibition opening.
The participants discussed the issues of innovative technologies for collecting and processing geospatial data, integrated development of mineral deposits and prospects of mechanics and machine science in Kazakhstan. As part of the conference, master classes of geodetic companies and Satbayev University were held, as well as an exhibition of modern geodetic equipment.
The conference will solve the tasks of strengthening international cooperation and further partnership of specialized international associations, leading universities, companies, specialists in the field of geodesy, cartography of remote sensing of the Earth, surveying through the exchange of scientific and technical experience, ideas and results achieved, primarily in Kazakhstan.
