Institute of Military Sciences of KazNRTU named after K.I. Satbayev has chosen students for training
Kazakh National Research Technical University named after K.I. Satbaev conducted a professional selection of students for training at the military department from August 21 to September 2, 2017.
Military Department of KazNRTU named after K.I. Satbayev prepares reserve officers of technical profile for the Armed Forces of the Republic of Kazakhstan. Training is carried out on a reimbursable and non-reimbursable basis.
After graduating students will get the officer rank "reserve lieutenant", and will be enrolled in the reserve. They cannot be drafted into the military as an ordinary soldier, but can be drafted as an officer. Training at the Military Department assumes an additional military specialization that is close to the basic specialty of teaching the student.
Selection was carried out on a competitive basis. In addition to medical examination, students pass professional psychological and sports examination. The final decision was made by the commission on the basis of the average GPA score for the last period of study.
In general, over the course of the existence of the military department, more than 30,000 reserve officers have been trained. The professional level of graduates corresponds to the Kazakhstan military institutions training level.
