International Scientific and Practical Conference in KazNRTU after K.I. Satpayev
On April 11-12 KazNRTU after K.I. Satpayev organized an International Scientific and Practical Conference on the topic "Mathematical Methods and Information Technologies of Macroeconomic Analysis and Economic Policy" dedicated to the 80th anniversary of Abdykappar Ashimov academician of the National Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
From 1976 to 1985 Abdykappar Ashimov was rector of the Kazakh Polytechnic Institute (now KazNRTU). During this time, under his leadership, a great work was done: the largest educational buildings were built more than 80% of the total area of the university.
Two-day conference was attended by researchers in the field of information and computing technologies from different countries - Russia, Azerbaijan, Iran, Poland, USA, Japan. Domestic science was represented by the Institute of Information and Telecommunication Technologies KazNRTU after K. I. Satpayev.
Ravil Muhamediev Director Information and Telecommunication Technologies Institute held a final meeting, they summed up the results and approved the project of resolution. Then A. Ashimov was honored in connection with his 80th birthday. On this day, many good wishes were expressed to the academician: his family, friends and his students spoke, - he raised 10 doctors of science and more than 50 young scientists defended the Ph.D. theses under his guidance.
