Memorandum of cooperation was signed between Satbayev University and Kazakhstan Council for Green Construction KazGBC. Memorandum was signed by Director of KAZGBC Daniyar Azymkhanov and Satbayev University’s Rector Meiram Begentayev.

Within the framework of Memorandum, an agreement was reached to conduct free training of students and teachers in the basics of green design and construction according to the national standard of green construction OMIR. It is also expected to participate in joint conferences and round tables, scientific projects and writing the joint articles on green construction topics.

Kazakhstan Council for Green Construction KazGBC is a non-profit association of legal entities established in 2014 with the aim of facilitating the transition of the construction industry of Kazakhstan to the principles of sustainable development. Kazakhstan Green Building Council is a member of WorldGBC global network, where many world rating tools are elaborated and administered.
