Legacy of Professor Amankulov: a new nominal auditorium has been opened at Satbayev University
A nominal auditorium of Professor Amen Amankulov, a university lecturer who worked for many years at Geology and Oil-Gas Business Institute, was opened at Satbayev University.
Amen Amankulov - a graduate of Petroleum Faculty at Moscow Petroleum Institute. He worked at the drilling enterprises of “Kazakhstanneft” association, he passed his way from assistant driller to drilling office director. In the mid-60s, he successfully completed the targeted postgraduate course at Azerbaijan Institute of Oil and Gas, defended his PhD thesis. After defending his dissertation, Amen Amankulov worked at Satbayev University for almost forty years, first as a senior lecturer, and then as a professor and head of "Drilling of oil and gas wells" and "Technology and technique of drilling wells" departments, passing on his practical experience to the younger generation.
Amen Amankulov - the author of more than 120 scientific works, including 2 text-books and manuals devoted to drilling, more than 20 methodological developments in Russian and Kazakh languages. In 1998, he was awarded the title of professor. His work has been repeatedly awarded with commendations, badges and awards, including "Excellent worker of subsurface exploration" badge of the USSR Geology Ministry (1984), "For excellent achievements in work" badge of the USSR MH & SSE (1985), certificate of honor of the USSR Petroleum Industry Ministry (1986), " Veteran Labor " medal (1987) and "100 years of Kazakhstan’s oil" badge (1999).
