Meeting with representatives of the National Energy Company of Malaysia TNB
On April 24, KazNRTU after K.I. Satpayev held a meeting of the Managing Director of Postgraduate Education Dilda Sabitova with the representatives of the National Energy Company of Malaysia TENAGA NASIONAL BERHAD (TNB).
The cooperation between KazNRTU and Universiti Tenaga Nasional (UNITEN) on the exchange of students, masters and PhD was resumed.
UNITEN, one of the first private universities in Malaysia, was established under the leadership of TENAGA NASIONAL BERHAD in 1976.
TNB is the largest electricity supplier in Malaysia, which has been operating for 65 years. The main office is in Kuala Lumpur. The basic assets of the company are 110.7 billion of Malaysian ringgit ($ 1 = 4.3592 MYR). TNB's main activities cover all stages of the production and sale of electricity, including generation, transmission and sale. Through its affiliated undertaking, TNB also carries out activities associated with the supply of electricity, such as: the production of transformers, switchgears and high voltage cables; Rendering of professional consulting services, performance of architectural, general construction and electrical works, as well as repair and maintenance of production facilities.
Providing support to core and supporting lines of business, TNB is developing a research service that is exploring the possibilities of using new technologies. In addition, in recent years, TNB has become a leader in renewable energy sources in Malaysia.
