On March 31, Institute of Basic Education and Department of Social Sciences (section of Modern History of Kazakhstan) held a round table "80 years of mass political repressions of 1937-1938 in the Soviet Union and Kazakhstan."

The round table was attended by the 1^st year students, teachers and Tleu Kulbayev a well known expert and researcher of the topic, academician, doctor of historical Sciences, Professor.
