nFactorial summer camp on programming has ended in Almaty.

On August 11, a summer programming camp created by the largest IT incubator in Kazakhstan, nFactorial School, in partnership with Chevron, completed its work in Almaty. Within the framework of the camp, during 10 weeks, the country's young talents created 100+ unique web applications. The venue for the ceremony was provided by Satbayev University.

More than 4,000 candidates from Kazakhstan, Russia, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan and Azerbaijan applied to participate in the camp, 200 of the best developers from them were invited to take part in the summer camp.

Following the results of 10 weeks, the Incubator participants created web3 applications unique for the country, dedicated to the study of the history and geography of Kazakhstan, popularization of Kazakh music and poetry, promotion of eco-culture and many other educational, social and entertainment projects. The 20 best apps made it to the finals and were presented to the jury.

The experts noted the importance of the project and wished the participants success.

— You all know that the President has a big initiative: "We need to train 100 thousand IT specialists for the field of information technology." The country’s higher educational institutions are directly joining this initiative, this program. Therefore, we need to bring educational programs in the new academic year in line with the given initiative," Minister of RK Science and Higher Education Sayassat Nurbek said in his speech.

nFactorial Incubator is an intensive 10-week training program for the market of high-class junior developers. The program goal is to train 10 thousand professional developers who will bring $ 1 billion to the economy of Kazakhstan through the export of IT services and the sale of software created in Kazakhstan.
